In my run-down of significant breakthroughs with last night's election early this morning, I clean forgot to mention Elizabeth Warren's victory over Scott Brown in Massachusetts, which pleases me no end. A good person, who has endured quite a bit of hostility for being an outspoken woman who wants to see this country changed for the better--as in, not under the direct control of the 1%.
Would it be ungracious of me to say that Mr. Brown may always easily find a job as a centerfold someplace, so he won't be totally out of work now? Probably so. The ungracious flesh does so war against the gracious tugs of the spirit at times, though--at least, this is true in my case.
